A Brief Note....

....To say:

I shan't delve to far into this subject as I plan to write something slightly more in depth than just a short internet blog.

But a character from a few years back made a reappearance in my life this evening.

This specific character, in my eyes, is the epitome of the word warrior.

Not because he has fought many a battle of human conflict and won, or that he has the street crown of 'the hardest man in (insert apparent tough neighborhood here)"
Or any other stereotype you might consider to fit such a title.

But because he has fought and won one of the most feared wars of human nature.

The battle of Life v Death.

This certain person crossed the lines of life as we know it and experienced his own view of the opposite side of the mirror.

In the five years from the day of his horrific accident, he has managed to rebirth himself in the same way you would interpret a reincarnation.

Going from being an incredibly switched on, overly talented artist and brain box to being so brain damaged that he lost all capability of speech and movement, to be standing in my bedroom talking to me and re telling tales of old school mischief we would cause before he left, in my eyes is one of the most 'incredible*' achievements of human life that i have personally witnessed.

Here ends the note.

* The reason I quote such a word is because he has it tattooed on his arm in reference to himself, which for me is most acceptable as I feel the word barely does his achievements justice.
